Vanity Fair’s latest issue has caught the attention of the media once again thanks to Jennifer Lawrence’s close encounter with a giant snake!
Shot by legendary fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier, the shoot was inspired by an iconic early 80’s portrait by Richard Avedon that featured Nastassja Kinski in a similar set up. In JLaw’s recent photo-shoot, we can see her channelling Kinski closely.
Just like her popular character Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games, Jennifer emanated the sexy, bold and daring nature she is known for! She oozed ferocity with her voluminous short hair, intense gaze and glowing skin.
Jennifer also starred on the cover of Vanity Fair’s 2014 November issue, bearing some skin, red lipstick and an exquisite silver necklace. Always the huntress, the November issue saw JLaw confidently posing in the water whilst holding a white cockatoo!
SEE IT HERE – BEHIND THE SCENES: JENNIFER LAWRENCE FOR VANITY FAIR
This down-to-earth beloved actress has recently appeared in Christian Dior’s Spring 2015 campaign. Again, she looked flawless! Against a simple white backdrop, the actress looks effortless with natural, barely-there make-up and a swept up hairstyle (see that here.)
JLaw hasn’t fallen from grace from the controversial iCloud nude leaks, when hackers had gotten a hold of her personal photos. “It is not a scandal…it is a sex crime. It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change”, she said to Vanity Fair.
Some of this talented actress’s notable roles include the 2012 film Silver Linings Playbook – if you haven’t already, it’s a definite must-see comedy drama. Also, her prominent portrayal of the blue skinned mutant Mystique in X-Men. And of course, we’ll all be waiting to see her kickass in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, which comes out this year.
