2015’s Hottest Short Hair Looks According To Anthony Nader

Slowly, gradually, short hair for women is making a comeback. Hurrah! Granted, it’s not something for everyone (lifestyle, face shape, general aesthetic preference or an unappreciative partner may rule short hair out altogether.) BUT – if you’re ready to take the plunge, watch where you jump! As far as internationally-renowned hairstylist Anthony Nader is concerned (Anthony founded Sydney’s RAW Salon, and is a frequent contributor to the top international glossies) he narrows the hottest short hair trends for 2015 down to three main looks.

According to Anthony:

“Let’s roll on with 2015 and embrace shorter hair trends. I’m a firm believer in them and I’m predicting that more women will have the confidence in getting the chop.

Love her or loathe her, Miley Cyrus is still winning points in my book from that one Instagram upload of celebrity snippier Chris McMillan chopping off her  Disney Hannah Montana “country mane” which transformed her into a on-trend, red carpet go-to.”

“Women of all ages in my salon have wanted to replicate one of the Miley’s multiple short playful textured haircuts as they are so much fun to play around with. You can simply change them up by using different products.”

Guilty as charged: Yours truly getting the Anthony Nader treatment when I opted for my short hair chop around 6 months ago..

According to Anthony, another one to watch is Hunger Games beauty Jennifer Lawrence. “Have you noticed how her long hair just got shorter and shorter, and how cute and modern her off-duty haircuts look now? I personally can’t keep up with all the latest updates on how she wears her famous tresses!”

For those wanting a softer alternative to a close-cropped cut (or to ease into themselves into going short for the first time), look no further than Julianne Hough.

“Julianne Hough’s cut and colour (shown below) is a double winner in my books, and the colour bar at my Surry Hills salon is always full of women that have their iphone charged up with images of her Californian mane. Women crave her hair as it is so feminine and achievable.”

That is beautiful short hair – one day I’ll be bold enough to do something like that – and I know I’m going to love it when I get there!

I loathe most of Miley’s looks. I don’t care much about her one way or another, but she usually looks hideous lately. Jennifer is beautiful but I tend not to like really short hair.
