#4 – Eat first, party later
As tempting as it is to fill up on savoury snacks and canapes at parties, you may as well strap a few extra kilos around yourself right then and there – that’s the effect these little calorie bombs will have on your shape before the season is out. (Sad, but true!)
While no one is suggesting you skip out on the feast and the fun altogether, it’s wise to reduce these temptations as much as possible.
The best trick? Eat a small healthy meal before you hit the party. Not only will this stop you drinking on an empty stomach (don’t be THAT person…!), you also won’t be so tempted to fill up on all the wrong things.
