#2 – Like day and night…
Over the course of a 24-hour day, your eyes provide cues to your brain using light. This, in turn, translates as drowsiness or activity. To reset your inner clock, try to avoid both natural and artificial light when looking to getting some shut-eye. Once in bed, dim the lights and turn off the tv and computer.
If you must work night shift and are trying to sleep during the day, try wearing sunglasses on the morning drive home, to trick the brain into thinking it is still nighttime.
