There are countless beauty blogs dishing out advice on how to best conceal your freckles. If that’s the kind of (mis)information you’re looking for, sorry friend, you’ve wandered onto the wrong website. We’re pro-freckles here.
Even if you’re after the top ten ways to obliterate the freckles off your face, may we request you hang around for a little while longer? Because we think there is an option you should know about; an option where freckles can be free to roam your face without fear of oppression. An option that requests matte foundations please go and stand in the corner. An option where one freckle can love another freckle, and everybody would just be cool with it.
We’ve been conditioned from a young age to try and hide our flaws, and for some reason freckles have fallen into the “imperfection” category. (I blame it on Jane Austen novels). But not so, we say! Freckles add character to your face. They’re enchanting, captivating and charming. Rather than spending oodles of time – and money – covering your freckles, try working with them instead:
1. Use tinted moisturiser or a BB cream instead of foundation. It’s enough coverage to even out the skin tone, without actually concealing your freckles.
2. If you have oily skin, mineral makeup will also work a charm.
3. If you want to cover pimples or dark circles, opt for a light reflecting concealer. They illuminate the area rather than smothering it.
4. Invest in a good red lipstick. Freckles and red lips make a striking combination.
5. Freckles are a feature, not a blemish. Remember that the next time try to plaster them under makeup.
6. And don’t even think about going near a laser treatment, young lady.
You’re welcome.

I like freckles.
I have moles rather than freckles and dont like them at all
I have some freckles on my nose and I love them!
Instead of freckles I have moles everywhere on my face.
I do the tinted moisturiser trick for my freckles- they do add character but I’m definitely getting more as I grow up (should have listened to mum) 🙂
I think freckles add alot of character to a person 🙂
PRETTY!
