We Love: Peroni X Men In This Town At MBFWA

If you haven’t noticed (i.e. if you have been living under a rock) we have been hitting the pavement down to Sydney’s Carriageworks every day this week for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia.

One of the great godsends at Fashion Week that make the days just that much better are the lovely alcohol sponsors who help us out with a glass of wine or a nice cool beer after hours of watching Australia’s finest designers showcase their collections.

Always a sucker for a good collab, the latest and greatest is that between Peroni Nastro Azzurro- official beer sponsor for the week and uber chic international fashion blog ‘Men in this Town’. I always bemoan the lack of amazing men’s style blogs in Australia so this exposure for great mens fashion is exciting!

Giuseppe Santamaria, who is the founder and creator of Men in this Town, hunts down men on the street with a distinct look in their natural habitat.

Men In This Town is one of the biggest men’s street style blogs on tumblr with over 200,000 followers- who doesn’t love scoping a dapper dude!

Says Santamaria of his blog, “My approach for Men In This Town is to capture everyday men whose dress sense speaks volumes about who they are.”

Along with Men In This Town, Giuseppe also has a weekly column in The Sun-Herald and The Sunday Age’s Sunday Life Magazine and regularly contributes to the Details Style Network.

Giuseppe has been spotted snapping happy inside and outside MBFWA and is capturing this week’s events as they unfold, presenting his unique and engaging street style photography daily via www.meninthistown.com and the Peroni Nastro Azzurro Australia Facebook page.

Peroni Nastro Azzurro’s along with Giuseppe has created a series labeled “An Italian in Sydney”, that is a collection of cinemagraphs that focus on showcasing an Italian’s lifestyle during the day.

The no-sock look doesn’t appeal to me at all. I just don’t like seeing that much ankle unless there’s shorts!
