Move over Fashion, Beauty is having a moment.
If you haven’t noticed yet, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia is in full throttle. But for some utterly discombobulating reason, the clothes are getting all the attention (I know, right? So rude). Luckily Maybelline NY is the official cosmetics sponsor of MBFWA, putting the spotlight on all the beauty action.
Maybelline will be working with many designers over MBFWA, so let’s take a look at their collaboration with We Are Handsome. For their runway show, Maybelline’s makeup director Nigel Stanislaus, created three distinct looks. Nigel says, “We Are Handsome’s look celebrates the opulence and cheekiness of Guy Bourdin and the little glamour and boldness of the 70s disco era. It was the perfect marriage of colour, statement, yet with a modern, powerful and polished finish”
