Wes Anderson has a magical quality that he lends to all his films. Obviously it is this magic that Prada is hoping to capture for their new fragrance Candy L’Eau. This past week, the Interwebs has been buzzing with praise for the three part shorts directed by Anderson titled Prada Candy L’Eau.
Romon Coppola co-directed the shorts starring Léa Seydoux who you might remember from Midnight in Paris (one of my favourite films to date!).
The films are introduced as “a real tale in three episodes that encompasses Candy as the most sparkling and unexpected character.” A perfect mix of Anderson’s unmistakable je ne sais quas, mixed with the sweet and feminine Prada aesthetic make for a thoroughly enjoyable set of films.
Prada Candy L’Eau, a playful, seductive scent, includes notes of Italian citruses, sweet pea, benzoin, white musk, and caramel.
Check out the three films below!
