I’m a huge breakfast fanatic – always have been. However in 2014 things have really changed on the breakfast front, and long gone are the rice bubbles and vegemite toast combos (not that I don’t have that occasionally!) To me, breakfast needs to be the whole kit and caboodle – I want healthy, filling, tasty, different, quick to prepare.. did I say healthy? No small feat! So I was really interested to give this green breakfast bowl “recipe” a try recently. In reality, it’s less of a recipe and more of an educated combining of goodness into a bowl, but that works for me.

- 1 scoop brown rice protein
- 2 handfuls of kale
- ½ banana
- ½ cup Meko 100% Pure Coconut Water
- slippery elm
Place all ingredients into a high power blender, and blend for 30 seconds. Pour into a bowl and serve with raspberries, seeds and almond meal.
