It all started with an eyebrow dance.

Yes, this gorgeous, multi-talented 17 year old really did shoot to fame after uploading a video to YouTube of her dancing eyebrows…

Sarah Ellen Interview

With more than 1.5 million fans on social media, the talented teen is right at home as a member of the ‘Supre Girl Gang’, along with Isabelle Cornish and Inka Williams. And, as if this wasn’t enough she’s about to launch her own lifestyle website (aptly named Perks of Her) as well! We caught up with Sarah to chat about life, her plans, and some lessons she’s learned along the way…

BWA: You’ve become a media sensation at such a young age! Did you always of dream of this, or was it a happy accident?

Sarah: Since I was young I’ve always had a passion for entertaining, it’s always been a dream that I’ve been working towards and am still continuing to work hard for.. but I still get such happy surprise from all of the amazing interest and support from my fans.

BWA: What is one of your greatest moments so far?

I’ve been lucky enough to do a lot of travelling recently and spending time in LA is one of my favourite things to do. My most recent visit was incredible!

Also, working with Supre has been a bit of a career highlight – the team is amazing and being part of the Supre Girl Gang is a lot of fun. It’s all about empowering girls, celebrating friendships and being confident – what’s not to love.

BWA: What does being a part of the Supre Girl Gang mean to you?

I’ve been shopping at Supre since I was a kid, so it’s just unreal. I’ve always looked up to models that give off a positive image and I want to be that role model for Supre girls.

BWA: What has inspired you to create Perks of Her?

The Idea behind Perks of Her is to create an online fashion and entertainment destination where I share my travels, stories, Perks and quirky fashion. I felt like I was being limited by only using social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter and Facebook so I created my own platform that I can use as a creative outlet.

BWA: Have you had any career challenges so far? If so how have you overcome them?

There are always challenges in life and I’ve certainly had a few along the way. I like to find the Perks in every situation.  I also find it helpful to call on my girlfriends and family for support – they are always incredibly supportive and give great advice.

BWA: Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years’ time?

Taking over the world 😉

BWA: Do you have any advice for other girls wanting to follow in your footsteps?

My main message is: BE HAPPY IN YOUR OWN SKIN. It’s a true kind of happiness and I wish that for all of my friends and followers. Don’t be afraid to stand out and be different.

BWA: Do you ever get nervous posting to social media with such a huge audience?

To be honest, I try to focus on posting things that I genuinely like and believe in – so it’s great to see that my followers like what I post too! I usually post what I come across in my day-to-day life, whether it’s friends, a beautiful view, something I am working on, an outfit of the day or anything like that. I wouldn’t be where I’m at now without my followers’ support.

BWA: Beauty products you can’t leave the house without?

Pau Pau Cream

Kevyn Aucoin Mascara

Face Moisturiser

BWA: What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Don’t be afraid to change the rules of the game, if you want something to happen bad enough, you’ll make it happen.
