Whilst Audrey Hepburn passed away in 1993 (aged only 63) due to Appendicular cancer, this extraordinary woman’s legacy still lives on today. Some 54 years on, Hepburn’s iconic style from the 1961 film Breakfast At Tiffany’s – with her classic up-do, flawless eyebrows, pearls and glamourous shades is instantly recognisable the world over.
However, the difficult experiences she experienced throughout her youth during World War II shaped her values and influenced what was to become an important and inspiring life. Mother of two, this humble actress is deserved of acclaim not only for her iconic films and timeless beauty, but also her humanitarian work and enduring legacy.
