Chip Chop Designer Hannah Chipkin based her most recent collection, Nordic but Nice, on a Winter Wonderland. The A/W 2012 collection was inspired by gingerbread, snowmen and all things Scandinavian.
Although the collection has been available for a month or so the second drop has just landed and considering I am about to embark on my own European adventure, including time in both Denmark and Sweden, I just had to post about it. Some colourful fleece capes perfect for a Scandinavian or Aussie winter, Nordic patterned and striped dresses and cool baseball tops make up the range.
Chipkin encourages you to pick a team, Stockholm or Copenhagen? However, you could buy both and switch them up depending on what country you’re visiting. Great plan, those Danes and Swedes won’t suspect a thing… Like all good stylish Scandinavian designs, Chip Chop’s Nordic but Nice uses simple, clean lines with a twist. My personal favourite thing about the look book is the adorable Viking styling. Personally, I love the Heart on My Sleeve cardigan, Team Stockholm raglan and that fantastically cosy looking throw covered in Scandinavian words!
