Readers of British Vogue’s December 2014 edition are lucky enough to have TWO covers to choose from when browsing the news stands, with perennial covergirl Kate Moss gracing the cover of two versions of the latest issue. (This issue marks Kate’s 79th/80th Vogue magazine cover to date!) Whilst both versions were shot by close friend and long-time collaborator Mario Testino, each one depicts the different nature of Kate: one is sultry and glamourous the other fresh-faced and natural.
Could it be that editor Alexandra Shulman simply couldn’t choose? Or is there a new trend in magazine covers afoot? In what is most likely a bid to capture the consumer’s attention away from digital media, magazines have adopted the bigger-is-better motto lately when it comes to selecting their cover, with multi-versions and multi-model cover photos becoming a huge trend. Earlier in the year Vogue Japan mercifully featured a reunion of 90’s supers on their cover, followed by US Vogue’s all-important September issue (9 ‘insta’ girls), and Vogue Italia’s September issue featuring a whopping FIFTY models on a fold out sepia-toned cover which is sure to be a record breaker!
Which of the two Kate covers gets your vote? Let me know in the comments below and earn BWA Dollars for doing so!

The natural look is my favourite, how does she stay so beautiful.?
Interesting!! I actually like the bottom one, but do agree Kate looks great in the natural one… She’s a lucky lady
Unusual…
I like the first cover!
The top image looks better as a cover, but I looove the look in the bottom cover.
I’d have to buy the top one! The bottom one is good but doesn’t really make me want to buy the mag and I prefer a natural real look anyhow.
Gorgeous
I prefer the first it seems very “natural” with the freckles and all.
Kate moss is timeless
