You could say there was a smidgeon of fanfare and excitement amongst the fashion pack when news broke earlier this year that downtown darling, Alexander Wang was due to collaborate with fast fashion powerhouse H&M. With several teasers leaked along the way, and the runway show unfolding in New York recently, we are now only 2 days away from the release of the much-anticipated collection which will roll out in selected H&M stores and online at 7am on the 6th November (Sydney time)
In a heavy collection that can only be (somewhat) described as “totalitarian-sportsluxe” (complete with eye protection visors, crop tops, face cages, urban combat boots and bizarrely, boxing gloves) the range is certainly going to cause an frenzy amongst those wanting to get in on the collection when doors open on Thursday.
The capsule collection has many well-priced crowd pleasers, with cropped logo-emblazoned sweaters at around GBP40, leather trousers GBP199, and dresses GBP49.

Not for me I am afraid to say
Wow. Very different.
I’d be interested to see how people style these for everyday wear.
those army pants might be quite nice if paired with a simple top
intense!
They looks scary!
Awesome
I’ll give it a miss if it’s anything similar to the runway show…. Unless I decide to join gladiator or hunger games
