#3 – Prep Your Meals
Newsflash: preparing your food at home is a much more budget-friendly option than ordering takeover or wining and dining constantly. Obviously, it’s fun to treat yo’self and eat out every now and again, but getting into the habit of preparing meals in advance can save you a whole heap of money too.
Every Sunday, I love to do my Farmer’s Market and grocery shop and prepare at least 5 days worth of food (including breakfast, lunch and dinner) for a measly $60-80. That’s less than $20 per day; as opposed to the hefty $60 per day I would use to spend on buying my morning smoothie, coffee, lunch and dinner. Handy [life-changing] hint: delete Uber Eats. Mic drop.
