#4 – Spring Clean Your Phone
It’s really never too early to start your spring cleaning, especially when your phone is involved. The longer you put off deleting those unused apps that are still taking out money from your account, the worse off your bank account will be. Some apps are cheeky and might still be charging you (ahem, Kayla Itsines) even after you’ve cancelled your subscription, so it pays to check.
Another handy tip is to turn off data for the apps that function in the background or are privy to constant updates so you can avoid going over your data usage for the month. I was forced to do this after I accrued a bill for over $200 in one month just from using my phone in a few hot spots without wifi and downloading large files and apps.
And although a few episodes of Real Housewives of New Jersey on HAYU was definitely justifiable at the time, it definitely wasn’t worth the $100 difference I had to dish out when my bill came rolling in.
