Designed and created by Sydney based Sarah Gardner, the Spring Summer collection for 2013 is titled Heritage which really brings to light and celebrates the incredible craftsmanship that Gardner possesses.
For this collection, inspiration can from 1940s screen siren Hedy Lamarr and the opulent, dramatic jewellery of the era. After watching Lamarr played the heroine in ‘The Conspirators’ (1944) Gardner that the collection begain to take form echoing vintage art deco-esque features in a beautiful offering that includes rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
One of my favourite things about Garden Row is the use of beautiful exotic and rare stones, in the current collection champion aventurine, labradorite and raspberry quartz.
Some of our favourite pieces are the ‘Noir’ bracelet and necklace, made from either matte or faceted black onyx, a dark and feminine representation of the art deco aesthetic and the ‘ Conspirator’s Necklace’ an incredibly ornate vine and leaf shape neckpiece made from
green chalcedony, sterling silver and amethyst chips.
The collection ranges from $125-$1,030 and we cant get enough of the new campaign images featuring the gorgeous Amanda Ware! Check out Garland Row now.
