It’s a blissful time of year for the avid shoppers amongst us. It’s when retailers (like our new favourite, Eocene) kindly offer up amazing must-have’s for a fraction of their usual price. In other words, it’s WINTER SALE TIME.
I came upon Eocene recently when I was googling around to find the ultra-cool Peter Jensen “lips” collection (example below). I was pleasantly surprised to find several other cult international womenswear and menswear labels in their store that you usually have to look overseas to find. (Think Jonathan Simkhai, Opening Ceremony, Timo Weiland, Designers Remix and Francis Leon.)
You’ll also find smaller, emerging international designers such as Still Good and Brother Vellies available, which makes the mix even more interesting and internationally-flavoured. However despite the fashion-forwardness of the range at Eocene, the buyers have managed to maintain a distinct wearability that suits the local Aussie lifestyle and climate. Prices were on-par (or better) compared to overseas retailers which is a really great bonus (…Lets support local e-tailers!)
Here are some of my favourite picks from the Eocene Winter Sale:

I guess the ones I have selected are a little bit 60’s.. I didn’t realise that at the time, thanks for pointing it out. I do love a retro look!
I have less to spend these days, and sales are a good way to get good quality, sometimes unusual, stuff for less.
Oh that’s what it’s called anorak!! I wonder why it’s called that
The black and white anorak is alright.
LOVE the Lips!
