Ze Flamant Rose in Sydney’s Darlinghurst is the work of two French Master Stylists (Emilie and Cyril) who together boast over 15 years experience. Hailing from France, but each boasting global experience, the two set about creating the finest European-style eco-friendly salon in the southern hemisphere, and the result is Ze Flamant Rose.
Nestled between record stores and eclectic bars in a bustling corner of Sydney, Ze Flamant Rose offers a calm respite from the outside world and a full VIP salon experience. Their aim is to meld personalised treatment within an organic, luxurious and friendly environment.
Unlike most salons that speed through their appointments, Ze Flamant Rose is all about offering client’s complete relaxation in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Here, the focus is on the individual. By opening Ze Flamant Rose in Sydney, along with his business partner Emilie, Cyril wanted to prove that it’s possible to provide this luxurious beauty experience in harmony with our planet:
“Being Eco-Friendly, Organic and respectful about our planet isn’t something fashionable or new for me, I grew up with this philosophy, my parents taught me how to act to respect and protect our precious planet earth.” – Cyril.
In their objective to set new standards of sustainability for the beauty industry, Ze Flamant Rose are truly leading the way. Not only is the salon completely committed to using only eco-friendly cleaning, beauty and hair products but they’re super stringent about recycling and energy usage too.
The salon was even voted the winner of 2014 Green Lifestyle Awards in the Beauty category!
Just some of the ways Ze Flamant Rose reduce their environmental footprint:
- Recycle all of their colour boxes, colour activator, care and shampoo bottles.
- Use ammonia free colours and organic/eco-friendly hair products which means there are no chemicals or ammonia being flushed back in to the water.
- Hair and beauty product packaging are 90% to 100% recycled.
- They run “Eco-Green” electricity and gas.
- All products used are certified ” No tested on animals” and “Palm oil free”
- They donate unused product to women’s charities
I stepped in to Ze Flamant Rose recently and experienced their personalised, eco-friendly service first-hand. Their warm and inviting service, coupled with what was definitely the best head massage of my life makes Ze Flamant Rose a truly unique offering in the hair and beauty world.
