BWA – What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Listen to our staff, our customer and work as a team. It sounds clichéd but it can really be that simple sometimes!
BWA – The one piece of advice you would tell your younger self:
Be passionate everyday and you will find a way.
BWA – Can you share with us what you have planned next for Kookai?
We will continue to invest in the brand, re-fit a number of our older stores, open additional destinations and of course work on Autumn Winter 16!
BWA – What is your personal style philosophy?
You could say I dress for an “occasion” but everyday is an occasion for me! Where I am travelling / who I am seeing / what I am doing – it all defines my daily style.
I believe in versatility and buying pieces that have longevity but I also have a playful styling side. Yes – I am full of contradictions hence the East meets West campaign for SS ’15/’16 – its me to a tee!

The brand seems to cut very small, though.
That’s annoying! Brands really ought to avoid doing this….
Cut small is an understatement. They only let their approved sized people wear anything they “create”. Can’t believe such a morally deficient company gets such coverage. Fashion should not be totally unethical.
Love Kookai!
beautiful!!!
