#3 – Make Use of Mirrors
Mirrors reflect light and thus, they are genius at making a small room feel instantly larger. To reflect daylight into the room, hang a mirror opposite a window, and in the evening, placing candles or a lamp in front will similarly reflect light back into the room.
You can use mirrors in most rooms to maximise space but be careful not to wander on to dangerous ground. After all, your grandparents might not appreciate a mirrored ceiling in your guest bedroom. Mirrored tiles in the bathroom are also a good idea in theory, but they’re a pain when used unless you get your kicks from cleaning 24/7.
