Try The Flash Tatt Trend Thanks To ‘Body Fashion’

A trend that has taken the world by storm, “flash tatts” (temporary tattoos for adults) are certain to be a fixture on the beaches, streets and fields of music festivals right across the country this summer.

The perfect body-art solution for commitment-phobes and you will get that at the shop tattoo supplies (flash tattoos last around 3-5 days, and sometimes a week), they are designed to withstand those long days on the beach, showers, dancing, and exercise.

Glistening beautifully in the sun, silver and gold metallic flash tattoos are like a 2D alternative to regular jewellery that won’t break or tarnish with use. (And best of all they are completely customisable!) Taking a mere minutes or two to apply, you simply snip the shapes out of the sheet, apply them wherever you want to be noticed (did I say that?), wet with water, and peel off the coating.

Here are my favourite 4 flash tattoo styles to try this summer – all products and images taken from Body Fashion (Australian specialists in temporary flash tattoos) and all are priced at a tiny $9.95!

P.S They come in sheets which include several designs (not just one as shown)

Gypsy Chains

I really love this unusual take on the flash tatt. This delicate and pretty floral design worn as an anklet (can also be a necklace) is a great introduction to the trend if you’re a little shy! Personally, I’d co-ordinate this anklet with a small flower on the underside of the wrist.

Modern Arm-Band

If you’re feeling more daring, the bold geometric arm-band design is worth trying. Clean lines and “minimalistic” as far as flash tatts go, this graphic option suits the sand AND the concrete! I’m thinking: plain t-shirts, basic tanks, cut off denim shorts, slides etc. Sexy AND fashionable.

Seeing Stars

A cute and potentially work-friendly way to hop onto the flash tattoo trend this season. Modern stars clustered together wherever you want to be noticed. Place them as shown, or on the forearm or ankle. Cute!

Persian Nights

A more typical style of flash tattoo, the ornate and larger Persian Nights by Body Fashion is sure to make a statement. Perfect for beach days and festivals, channel your inner boho-goddess with this opulent look that can be worn on the arm or leg.

Pretty. Like a step up on the “accessory” different and gorgeous, much better than any permanent tramp stamp 😉
