They come in and out of fashion about as often as animal print and bright colours, but it seems that this summer sequins are the most popular they’ve ever been.

Whether it’s a sequin dress or a sequin clutch, you can add a bit of sparkle to any look and not just for a night on the town, sequins can be worn in the day too as long as you pair them with simple pieces like t shirts and flats.

Celebrities have jumped on the bandwagon too with A-Listers like Kristen Stewart and Gwyneth Paltrow sporting the trend, as designers like Chanel and Elie Saab pave the way with sparkling footsteps.
