Trend How-To: Liquid Leggings

I personally am not a huge fan of leggings, however, the ‘liquid legging’ trend is one that I’m more than willing to give a go.

Derived from the wet look appearance, these shiny pants are clearly aimed at those who wish to inject extra excitement into their wardrobes, and with the amount of colours, prints and styles, there is sure to be one to suit most tastes.

As with most trends, the key is to wearing this right, as it can easily go astray, landing you on the worst dressed list quicker than you can say “does my butt look big in this?”

The key to achieving the best look with these is being able to balance out the overall appearance. Because these pants are extremely fitted, teaming them with a longer flowing top or jumper for everyday wear will work to tone down the impact, while adding simple wedges or flats will give this daytime look a sense of effortlessness.

To turn this look to night, pair with stilettos and a more fitted top, adding a blazer for a touch of sophistication.
