The Olsen Twins Launch A Fragrance

This week marks the announcement of the launch of  Elizabeth and James’s first fragrances. But don’t mistake these for celebrity fragrances this is the next luxe business venture for teen stars turned fashion moguls Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen that run the label along with their other lines The Row, Olsenboye, and StyleMint (how do they even do that!).

There are two scents set to launch into the market Nirvana White and Nirvana Black, which judging by the packaging is as luxe and beautiful as every other piece in their collection.

Says Ashley Olsen of the new addition to their burgeoning empire, “After going through the process of the first fragrance and getting to a place where we loved it…we felt like we were doing a disservice by not offering two, due to the duality of the brand having masculine and feminine qualities. It just felt right.”

The White, a floral musk, has notes of peony and lily of the valley; black is a warm take on violet, sandalwood, and vanilla.
