It’s been a busy few weeks in the beauty world, and there are only so many stories a gal can cover. Or so I thought. For your enjoyment slash pleasure slash convenience, here are some bite-sized snippets of what’s being happening in the beautysphere. No need to thank me (with words, that is. Anything by Chanel is thanks enough).

1. US Nail Company Releases Derriere Shaped Nail Polish

Ladies, warm up your retinas and get ready for some serious eye-rolling action. This latest nail polish can be filed under Things That Make You Go “Ugh.” According to FASHIONISTA, a US based company has released a series of nail polishes shaped like “booty.” Some of the delightful colour names include, “Red Riding Rump, Hella Hiney, Whale of a Tail, Grind Behind, Uncanny Fanny, and Tears for Rears.” I’d say “thanks, but no thanks,” only that would be far too kind. 2. Nicki Minaj Launches Her First Fragrance in Sydney

Our fave rapper, Nicki Minaj has finally popped her fragrance-ginity. The music artist released Pink Friday (seriously cool name, by the way) at Myer Sydney last week, before heading off to the ARIA Awards. The perfume is said to have notes of caramelized pear, vanilla, boysenberry, Italian mandarin, and lotus and starry jasmine petal. GIRLFRIEND online has all the pics. See more…

3. Say Hello to Chanel’s Spring Makeup 2012 Collection

BELLASUGAR gives us a sneaky peek at Chanel’s Spring 2013 makeup collection, Printemps Precieux de Chanel. According to the website, the collection is “about the understated, playful woman. It’s very feminine with soft, bare eyes, a pure complexion and a colour focus on the nails and lips. Think satin, peach and pink.” The beauty products will land in stores late January next year. 4. Could a Collagen Drink Obliterate Wrinkles?

“Can you drink yourself beautiful?” is the question on the DAILYMAIL’s lips. According to the online newspaper, there are multiple drinks available that claim to make you beautiful from the inside out.
