For me, when the weather begins to cool down, and you can see a hint of your breath in the air, it calls for a sartorial battle of the sexes. You either love it or hate it, the chronicles of man style.
I’ve always been a teensy bit envious of men. Not only could they go wherever they wanted, when they’ve got to, y’know, go (if you catch my drift), but style is so simple, classic and easy for them.
Women have been attempting the man style for generations now. It’s fascinating how structured shoulders, buttons all the way up to your chin, terrifyingly comfortable loose fitting trousers, and ankle chilling brogues not only look good on men, but women too! With such different body shapes, men and women, Mars and Venus as some say, can actually pull off the same style. May I utter the question, who wears it better?
I started considering this apparent question when I stumbled across Vanishing Elephant’s AW13 lookbook. A smile came to my face when my hungry eyes second glanced the all black casual suit combo, the maroon brogues my wardrobe now so desperately needs, and the British looking duffle coat a man is pictured in. This whole lookbook, even the clothes designed for men, were unisex in my eyes. A whole array of man styled clothing for our feminine hands to feast on.
Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing better than a well dressed man, but let’s have a vote, who rocks the man style better, us or them?

love it
It’s alright, I would wear them except the last all yellow outfit.
Love that brown jacket, looks so snuggly.
