The Bride Bible: Louis Vuitton Love Locks

Louis Vuitton’s Lockit jewellery is the perfect romantic gesture to add that special, luxe touch to your big day.

As the story goes, “love padlocks” first made their appearance in Hungary around 80 years ago but in the past few years, love locks on bridges, fences or landmarks have become a popular sight in cities around the world. Paris as the city of love, has the most famous love locks now at Pont de l’Archevêché. where couples in love latch on signed and dated padlocks and then throw the key into the water below.

The padlock is something of an iconic token for Louis Vuitton, attached to the original steamer trunks that are some of the most iconic pieces of Louis Vuitton history.

The Lockit collection consists of 15 pieces in 18ct yellow, rose and grey gold, including pendants, rings and bracelets, which serenade the love lock and are beautifully inscribed with the LV logo.
