Summer Style: Statement Bags Under $100

Fashion is art, a form of expression, a momentary escape from reality. But what is even better is that fashion is art that has a practicality to it, a reason for me to justify expenditure with perceived use. For you see, that Givenchy bag is an investment, so sturdy and it fits everything I could possibly need including a change of heels.

Just as much as any accessory, the perfect bag is often the cherry on top of a perfect outfit. Whenever I scour the streets for stylish lads and lasses, or click through Tommy Ton’s exquisite Fashion Week galleries, the things that always catch our eye are the perfect statement accessories.

Of course, practicality has a lot to do with it, I can never opt for a bag that doesn’t fit my iPad in it because otherwise it is a guarantee that I will lose it (twice!).

While a statement bag is often high on my list of “saved in shopping cart” items, a heart-stopping price tag doesn’t always have to accompany it.
