See Kate Middleton’s McQueen Wedding Gown Up Close

If you are planning to head to England, this is a must see for all McQueen or wedding fans.

Starting October 3rd, the wedding gown that was custom designed for Kate Middleton will be displayed along with her accessories to the public at Buckingham Palace as part of “The Royal Wedding Dress: A Story of Great British Design.”

Her accessories which are also on display include custom made McQueen shoes and a Cartier Halo tiara. You can also peep a 5 minute video on the creation of the dress featuring the Duchess herself.

The video includes some of the roadblocks that Burton came up against when designing, “It was a feat of engineering…It needed to be light.”
