To kick off the May issue of Elle US, the fashion mag is paying homage to wonderful women in music.
The cover girl is none other than Brit songstress Rita Ora who was lensed by Thomas Whiteside in this haute couture spread featuring the likes of Chanel, Dior and Valentino Haute Couture
Some highlights from her interview with Elle:
On never allowing her record label to dictate her style: “That should never be allowed! It’s like somebody telling you what to sing.”
On her 2009 “big break” with artist Jay-Z who signed her to his label: “I didn’t think in a million years that I’d fly to New York to meet one of the biggest music moguls of our time.”
