Vogue UK today previewed the anticipated collaboration between Richard Nicoll and Topshop, a first time venture for both parties into the world of bridal.
The collection is sweetly titled “Tie The Knot!” and true to Nicoll form is anything but conventional.
While the pieces are the perfect pick for the modern bride, you would not be remiss picking one up for bridesmaids or even just to wear out for a night on the town. Says Nicoll to Vogue UK “…I liked the idea of making a modern affordable alternative to meringue culture”.
The silhouettes are streamlined and range from classically chic T-shirt shift dresses to piece that are little more risque. These are definitely more for a young, contemporary bride who wants to save some serious cash with the range at a very affordable £75 to £350.

I love the concept! Bridal gowns are overpriced, these bring beautiful gowns back to attainable levels, and they’re cute too!

Hmmm sorry, but I think they’re bland…

I like the long ones for bridesmaids at like a garden wedding, but can’t imagine wearing any of those as a bride.
