Ahhh the CFDA Awards. Touted as the Oscars of the fashion industry world, this is one of the most anticipated nights on any stylestalker’s calendar.
The style set did not disappoint this year with stunning looks left, right and centre. However, unlike the Met Gala, fashion’s other annual high profile event, there weren’t many risk takers with most attendees playing it safe in the style stakes.
Favourites of the night included Miranda Kerr who looked incredible in a beautiful blue and green number by the night’s Womenswear Designer of the Year Award winner Proenza Schouler while Nicole Richie did simple and sexy in a slinky gold Marc Jacobs sheath.
Columbian beauty Sofia Vergara wore a stunning emerald dress that showed off her enviable figure and Kerry Washington wasn’t afraid to stand out from the crowd either, opting for a bold yellow Jason Wu gown.
