Kate Spade is something of a lifelong love for my best friend Danni and I since our days working in the ladies accessories department at David Jones.
It’s never easy for us to pick a favorite out of Kate Spade New York quirky-cute and always vibrant collections, that are fun and feminine with just the right touch of tongue in cheek flair. This week, Kate Spade gives us lemons…and when Kate give you lemons, you make the chicest lemonade ever.
A gorgeous Chelsea loft was transformed into a garden tea party for Kate Spade’s spring 2014 collection shown Friday morning at New York Fashion Week. The inspiration was “Places to Go, People to See” thanks to creative director Deborah Lloyd, drawn from strolling the gardens and streets in Capri, Monaco, and Giverny (its a hard life as a creative director, eh?).
As always, the collection is feminine and fun…everything from lemon prints, to voluminous midi dresses and adorable clutch purses made to look like book covers.
We are in love! Bring on more NYFW!
