With streetwear and the casual chic aesthetic permeating many aspects of the fashion world, its no surprise that emerging like RYWS are taking it to another level. The Melbourne based label has gained a cult following in a startling amount of time, with fans going crazy for their sporty, basketball inspired aesthetic, for a crazy affordable price tag.
The label initally started off as merchandise for the designers boyfriend, whose music name is RY with an EP titled “Wall Street”, hence RYWS.. since then from a humble t-shirt, the label has moved into fleece styles, basketball tanks and are now doing custom made neoprene items.
The Orchid collection has taken the blogging world by storm- cited by the designer Kaleigh as a homage to her love of the labels Les Plus Dores and Josh Goot, and her boyfriends love of Givenchy and street wear. The references are clear, but the take is fresh and original, we love it!
