Label Love: Blessed Are The Meek

By now, most of you will have heard of Bless’ed are the Meek and for good reason.

The Sydney based brand was born in 2003 and since has grown from strength to strength to create a strong, fashion forward label.

Their mission statement is to create collectable pieces that are beautiful and fashion forward yet still accessible for those of us without huge budgets at our disposal.

We are pretty excited this year as Bless’ed are the Meek are making their first foray into a solo show at Mercedes Benz Australian Fashion week in May presenting their S/S 12-13 collection which is entitled “The Siren”.

As always, we love a brand with a great price point and most pieces from the label are under $200 which is amazing!

I’m loving their Winter 2012 collection campaign “A Surreal Beauty” which is sensual, luxe and feminine. Layered textures like velvets and sequins, unique hemlines and cutaways, knits, billowing sleeves and thigh high splits speak of a fun, sexy, vibrant woman that is not afraid to be daring.
