Whimsical and dreamy describes APOM’s debut collection ‘Little Lost Land’. APOM stands for A Part Of Me, and the two new designers want every garment to form a connection with the wearer. The collection uses a soft palette of delicate pinks, burgundy, cream and navy, as well as picturesque prints, all of which conjure up images of a romantic summer.
Kate Brook and Kasja Kvernmo are the two Melbourne girls who designed the collection, which recently won the Fashion Exposed Best Apparel Award for a debut collection. They created easy to wear summer garments that encapsulated what APOM is about, beautiful prints, a nostalgic design aesthetic and a dedication to quality fabrics and quality make.
There are floaty dresses, loose crop tops, printed shirts and a range of dainty high waisted skirts. All are staple items that could easily be integrated into your sartorial arsenal.

A little too drab
Yeah…some of the outfits are staid-looking. Remind me of the clothes worn by school teachers or proper nice girls esp. from the 50s.
I don’t really like some of the outfits.
