It’s the big beauty step that I just can’t face (yet), that big chop that we all come to at some point in our lives. I am ever scarred from a bad short hair experience at 14 that had me looking remarkably like a young asian boy.
Which is why we love the latest editorial featuring Karlie Kloss who braves the salon chair for Vogue US (lets face it, wouldn’t we all), and boy does she rock the chop well.
Shot by Patrick Demarchelier for the January issue Kloss takes the plunge with a before and after style shoot- which explains why Kloss was spotted earlier this year backstage sporting the short hairdo. It seems when Miss Wintour sends the orders, not even a Victorias Secret Angel can refuse.
“I love it,” says Karlie of the cut to Vogue, “[A shorter haircut] actually takes the focus off your hair and puts the focus on you. I’m starting to realize that it’s all about confidence.”

damn t hat looks awesome
I think she’d suit a hairstyle better without the fringe. Nice face, why hide it?
a very hard call to make
I think that she looks great! I’m not going to cut my own hair short any time soon though.
It always feels so refreshing to get that kind of a ‘chop’. She must’ve felt great with this style.
Interesting top she’s wearing.
The longer hair looked much better
Looks great- but a bad cut can leave some pretty bad memories!
Like it.
Great cut.
Looks good shorter.
A bad cut can scar deep.
Wow. The hair looks great!
I, too, have bad haircut experiences but she looks amazing with short hair.
she’s so right! and she looks stunning too
She is such an amazingly beautiful model, very versatile too, which is why this haircut looks amazing on her. She pulls it off very well.
