Tip #4 – Become Acquainted with Fabrications
Fabrication know-how is one of those things that’s almost considered a party trick in this day and age. However, despite appearing totally nerdy and fashion obsessed, it can save a great deal of time and money when it comes to shopping.
For example, knowing which fabrics can be hand washed versus dry-clean only – will make a huge difference in your wardrobe. We recommend investing in cotton or viscose fabrics, and keeping silks and embroidery to a minimum – this will save a cue of trips (and dollars) to the drycleaner. And that means, there’s more time left for styling and fashion-business. Win, Win? Absolutely.
