Sometimes your beauty products can get a little outta control and its hard to remember where exactly that shade of MAC blush is or where your favourite lippy has gone.
Like most things, its all about organization…its key!
There are some amazing DIY and storage solution ideas and we bring you all our top tips to having the chic’est most grammable beauty vanity ever!
1. Use a clear organizer for nail polish bottles.
Separate lacquers into the clear pockets by color, so you can easily reach for a shade you like instead of rummaging through a pile of polishes. You can get these organizers at two dollar stores, Howards Storage World or even bunnings.
2. Put smaller containers inside of drawers.
Sectioned trays keep drawers seriously organized. Use a clear tiered draw system to see where everything is at once!
3. Use old candles or mason jars to store brushes and pencils.
This is a Pinterest and Instagram favourite- use your old Glasshouse or Diptyque candles (cleaned out) to stores your brushes, or even use mason jars painted (metallic, black whatever!). This also keeps your brush bristles safe and sound.
4. Keep your big palettes in a paper organizer.
Palettes are often hard to store because they are big and all different sizes. Get one of those desk paper organizers (there are heaps at Officeworks) and pop all your palettes in in size order.
5. Use a tiered cupcake or sandwich holder.
This is super cute, looks great on your vanity and is a great DIY. I use one of these for my jewellery but you could easily pick up a vintage cupcake stand at your local vinnies or even make one.
6. Use a magnetic board.
Store all your most-used colors on a magnetic board. Basically you stick magnets to the back of your favourite palettes and colours, and stick them to a faced metal board which you can hang or place on your vanity. Winning!

Will have to look again at my organization of everything I currently have in trays in which the products fall over!
