I’m still catching my breath following last night’s H&M Sydney store launch! What a night it was. The hotly-anticipated flagship store opening (which was attended by a whopping 1000+ guests) saw most of Pitt Street Mall converted into an enormous red carpet that was flanked by media and hundreds of onlookers.

The night was attended by the likes of Solange Knowles (yes – Beyonce’s sister!) Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards, Elle Ferguson, Tash Sefton, The Stenmark twins, Renae Ayris, Erin Holland plus a slew of industry figures, models and socials.
Once inside, we were treated to free-flowing champagne and cocktails, delicious canapes and rocking tunes before being set loose amongst the 5,000 sqm store to shop the latest women’s, men’s, kids’ and home collections. (Sadly, the Balmain x HM collection had not yet dropped but that’s in the post!)
Undoubtedly a highlight of the night was Solange Knowles’s DJ performance. She wore an H&M x Balmain outfit whilst spinning tunes, and the crowd went suitably wild.
The store’s official opening is Saturday 31st October, with crowds expected to line Pitt Street Mall. If you’re planning to visit the store, be prepared re money and mind! The store is staggeringly huge, the prices are great and there is A LOT to see.
Here are some of the highlights from the evening:
