Check out Margaret from Shine by Three’s latest post all the way from New York City!!
Well hello there from New York City, BWA-lovers!
I was going to wait until the weekend to write a post for you post-NYC-markets, but I simply couldn’t resist sharing this beautiful gem that Irene Albright shared with me yesterday evening. MINA is her concept store featuring trillions of beautiful designer pieces for a fraction of the price (and by fraction, I mean up to 90% off). I spent at least an hour in there looking at all the beautiful cuts and fabrics of exceptionally well made clothing. You’d expect nothing less of the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Alberta Ferretti, and…
… ridiculous quantities of Manolo Blahniks among other incredible shoes (wall to wall) – all arranged by colour, shape, designer, you name it. I found a perfect pair of red Moschino pumps in perfect condition for just $100, but sadly they weren’t in my size – my best friend bought them instead and I was so very jealous (but also ecstatic for her because they’ll last forever and go with anything and everything).
I guess that’s the key with vintage shopping – even in the most curated of concept stores, you need to sift through with your personal style in mind.
If you happen to be in New York City at the moment, make sure you stop by! MINA is at 32A Cooper Square (off Bowery St, between St Marks and 4th).
Until the weekend, savvy shoppers!
