1. Style.com to close as we know it (Noooo!!)

In what amounted to shocking news amongst fashion insiders everywhere, Style.com announced earlier this week that it’s much-loved format was set to change forever. No longer will style.com be the home of up-to-the-minute fashion, beauty and style news, the website will instead become a new global e-commerce destination.
Not all is lost however, with a new website voguerunway.com taking the reins of where style.com left off. Sadly however, some style.com staff have already been let go. Fashionista.com reported that “publishers are scared” and that it was heartbreaking and a shame to see that major publishing companies are transforming or shutting down completely due to another industry shift.
