The undisputed belle of the ball, Emma Watson, made history recently with her win of the new gender-neutral Best Actor Award at the MTV Movie & TV Awards. However it was her chic ensemble by eco- friendly Aussie designer Kitx, and her ultra-modern make-up look that really caught our attention.
Stepping out in a one shouldered, asymmetrical black dress complete with sheer panelling and oversized sequins, the 27 year old finished her look via a sultry cat eye, fresh skin and a sophisticated French twist – perfection!
Here are five steps to recreating Emma’s show-stopping glam at home.
#1 – Flawless Skin
A classic English rose, Emma wore a lightweight base that highlighted her creamy complexion and let her natural freckles shine through (Side note: We love freckles!)
To achieve Emma’s glowing skin, opt for a sheer coverage foundation with a radiant finish— softly blend with a beauty sponge or brush, starting at the centre of the face and working outwards.
Top Tip: To keep your base from looking cakey, apply a thin layer of foundation all over and use a more pigmented concealer to ‘spot treat’ dark circles or blemishes.
