Designer Eden Miller, who has a plus sized line in the US, has spoken out publicly about her woes when trying to launch a plus sized label.
As the first designer now to show a plus size line at New York Fashion Week this year, its clear that the industry is sitting up and taking notice of Edun and her line Cabiria.
Tapped by the Fashion Law Institute to be a part of its showcase during the spring runways at NYFW, she is one of six designers hand picked, though she is the only one that caters to fuller figured women.
Says Miller to Fashionista.com, “It just happened to be that they liked my stuff, It didn’t matter that I’m doing plus….But it turns out that I’m the first plus [line to show at fashion week]!”
Miller is not just a designer, she is also a well respected wardrobe supervisor and stylist for TV shows, music videos, and commercials, and we are excited and thrilled to see the fashion landscape broaden this year at NYFW to speak to such an under catered for market.
