What is a pom pom? Its name is derived from the french word pompon….and we love all things frenchie! “Pompon” refers to a small decorative ball made of feathers or fabric!
These little guys have certainly come a long way. Loose, fluffy, tufts of decorative balls that can come in all shapes, sizes, colours and materials!
We suggest getting crafty and experimenting with making them in all sizes big and small. Try using a variety of mediums like paper, wool, cotton, fabric, plastic and feathers. These are perfect as outdoor ornaments, wedding decorations, or use tie them to birthday presents, stick them on cards, sew them on your sweater, stick them on cushions, fill them in jars, tie them on door knobs, attach them to your clothes, bags, hats and more…. the opportunities are endless really!

They are very cute but their decorative use is limited if you don’t want to look too childish (be it yourself or your living space), though I like them on hats. Like balibabe7 said, they would be great for parties.
