Stop the press! Christian Louboutin, the man who can make the most sane woman insane with shoe-lust, has just announced a new venture – he’s entering the world of cosmetics!
Louboutin’s new company, Christian Louboutin Beauté, will be treating us to impossibly luxe and sophisticated beauty products come 2013. He told WWD that the line “has to mirror the quality of the shoes, of the bags, of all the DNA of the brand”. I’m willing to bet my imaginary pair of Louboutin heels that the iconic red sole will be interpreted into gorgeous lipsticks and nail polishes. And when you add eyeliners, blushes, eyeshadows, fragrances and more to the equation, the possibilities are endless!
