What inspired you to get into the hair and beauty industry?
Travelling inspired me to become a hairstylist.
What are your top tips to “Fighting The Frizz” in this unpredictable weather?
Using John Frieda Original Formula Hair Serum which instantly eliminates moderate frizz and repels humidity. Also the latest in the John Frieda range Frizz-Ease Miraculous Recovery Intensive Masque, keeps the hair hydrated and is ideal for women with thick, unmanageable curls/waves.
Are there any insider secrets to making sure your hair is as healthy as possible during the rainy season?
Keep up the weekly treatments to lock in moisture. I find that using styling products can create a barrier as well.
Is it better to air dry or blow dry your hair? Can you tell us why?
Blow drying your hair will help to smooth and even the hair, to keep your look maintained.
Although, if your hair is really curly, then apply and leave in a conditioning spray and twist round fingers and leave to air dry.
If you are blow drying your hair, are there any products we should use to protect it from the heat?
Yes, definitely use John Frieda 3-day Straight Semi-Permanent Styling Spray. This protects you hair from the heat and blocks out any frizz.
How often would you recommend using at home hair treatments? Any product suggestions from John Frieda?
Once a week use John Frieda Luminous Colour Glaze, this will add shine and smoothness to your hair.
Finally a question we ask all our interviewees…if you could have breakfast with anyone, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
The Queen of England! It would be an experience to have one on one time with her and I would love to give her a make over.
