I was lucky enough to attend the opening of the first Australian Pretty Ballerinas store in Westfield Sydney on Wednesday night. As the name implies, Pretty Ballerinas is all about the ballerina slipper! The brand is known for it’s huge array of styles and colours and the unusual way materials are combined.

Pretty Ballerinas has been photographed on the most fashionable and influential celebrities including Angelina Jolie, Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, Olivia Palermo, Elle Macpherson, Kylie Minogue, and Katherine Heigl (Kate Moss chose Pretty Ballerinas for her 14 little bridesmaids) and they are now available on our shores.

On Wednesday evening, bloggers, media and celebrities were invited to a ‘Ballerinas High Tea’ in collaboration with Laduree. Celebrity mother and daughter duos included Sally Obermeder, Kelly Landry, Elka Graham and Jane Fleming.
The whole thing was too pretty for words!
Pretty Ballerinas stores are designed like tiny chocolate boxes with signature details of French antique gilt mirrors and chandeliers pink shelving and leopard print sofas.
There are some seriously delectable shoes and accessories on offer in this jewel-box store, and it is a must-visit for any Sydneysider. (The good news is that the company is busy planning new stores in other states, so stay tuned for updates!)
