Blake Lively Named the New Face of Gucci Scent

Actress Blake Lively has been unveiled as the newest face of Gucci’s latest fragrance: Gucci Première.

Gucci creative director Frida Giannini chose Lively because of her sense of style and charisma. ‘She is a girl of extraordinary beauty and she’s a girl who loves fashion. She has great taste in clothes. Although she’s young, she’s also very determined, and I liked this spirit. She knows how to be a diva in the right sense, with an aspirational glamour.’

The fragrance is inspired by old Hollywood charm and contains notes of bergamot and orange blossom infused with white flowers, musk, and a base cocktail of leather and wood. It will launch in September this year.

Lively joins a list of Hollywood A-Listers such as Evan Rachel Wood, James Franco and Chris Evans who have previously represented the brand. She will feature in a print campaign and a short commercial film directed by Nicolas Winding Refn.
